In the uk ‘Between 1 April 2019 and 31 March 2020, the Trussell Trust’s food bank network distributed 1.9 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis, a 18% increase on the previous year. More than seven hundred thousand of these went to children.’ (taken from the Trussell Trust statistics 2019/20)
At Younghearts we wish no one would have to go hungry or have the stress of worrying where their next meal will come from. This is why we decided that a £1 donation from each sale will be sent to UK foodbanks to try and help those who are in that position. Donations will be made directly to the foodbank itself so your money gets to the people who really need it.
The foodbank we donate to will change throughout the year so that we can help as many as possible. Details can be found below. If you know of a Foodbank in need please get in touch so we can consider them for future donations.
